According to the Big Bang theory, the universe began as a hot and dense state of matter and energy, and then expanded and cooled down over time2. The Duality of Time Postulate may offer some solutions or alternatives to these problems, as follows: 

  • The horizon problem is the question of why the universe is so homogeneous and isotropic, despite the fact that different regions of the universe have not been in causal contact with each other, due to the finite speed of light2 5. The Duality of Time Postulate suggests that the universe is created by the recurrence of a single metaphysical point in the inward levels of time, which means that all regions of the universe are essentially connected and synchronized by the same point, regardless of their distance or direction1 3.
